The lost productivity is staggering; if 25 people are out for 2 weeks, you lose a whole man year of productivity. So, if your company sponsors a flu shot program, get it done. If they don't, take the time off to get it done. If you are sick, stay home. You have a myriad of options to work remotely. Many managers come into work sick to show they are tough, this habit becomes contagious, literally.
